Long before Grafik magazine was
Grafik magazine, there was a publication
called Graphics International.
They required a cover to illustrate
a feature on Pentagram’s poster designs.
Rather than use one of Pentagram’s actual
designs, we bundled up some rolls of glossy
paper, asked the very kind photographer
next door to do his stuff with the help of a
lightbox and bingo!
Problem solved – proverbial light at the
end of the tunnel.
